Fishing in Chilean Patagonia (From Punta Arenas)

**Fishing season starts October 15- April 14, 2025 

The fishing program focuses mainly on wild brown and rainbow trout, most of which are in the 14-to-20-inch range with legitimate shots at 30-inch brown trout in some of the private lakes. Sea run brown trout in the 5- to 20-pound class are present throughout the season and Coho or silver salmon in mid-March and April.
